I haven’t had a chance to try the steering wheel for myself, unfortunately, so I do not have much of an idea of what the scheme is like. The game says that the steering wheel is the best controller to use for it.
The keyboard still controls the other functions. The keyboard control scheme has the typical WASD controls for movement and the mouse to look around, with various other keys to control functions such as blinkers, windshield wipers, etc. The game supports four different types of control styles: keyboard, mouse, controller and steering wheel. Roads can be long and tedious if the controls were not so touchy. The game is not inherently hard, it just requires patience. I have heard that there are graphics mods for the game to make it look better. The main place the game focuses on is how in-depth the truck controls are. The gameplay does not give much leeway too look at the scenery anyway. There isn’t much beyond the road and the other cars to look at. It’s not a multiplayer game, but it’s best if played with friends.

I played it with my friends (we’re all bad drivers apparently) and we had a blast. I’m going to be honest, I had a lot of fun with this game. The goal is to deliver anything from two tons of potatoes to tractors around Europe. Euro Truck Simulator 2 is literally a truck driving simulator by SCS Software.
